Hello! I would like to present a series of works “Districts of Krasnoyarsk”. There are seven districts in Krasnoyarsk. The city is divided into two banks (left and right) by the Yenisei River. Four districts are on the left bank, three are on the right bank. This is an attempt to revive each district, to give them human traits, character, attributes and surroundings. The illustrations were made for the “Gorod Prima” (City of Prima) website and here you can see what the finished project looks like.

Привет! Хочу представить серию работ «Районы Красноярска». В Красноярске 7 районов. Город разделен рекой Енисей на два берега левый и правый. Четыре на левом берегу, три на правом берегу. Это попытка оживить каждый район, придать человеческие черты, наделить характером, атрибутикой и окружением. District \ РАЙОНЫ
Sovetsky (Soviet) District
This is the biggest district! The industrial smithy of the city. Aluminum plant and Steel plant, the city’s major enterprises, are located in this district. Metal is smelted, cast and molded here. Hard work!

Советский район
Это самый большой район! Индустриальная кузня города. В районе находятся алюминиевый и металлургический заводы, градообразующие предприятия города. Тут плавят, льют и формуют металл. Тяжелый труд!
Zheleznodorozhny (Railway) District
The railway station and a Siberian point on the Trans-Siberian Railway is situated here. The railway line encircles the whole city and connects several districts with each other. Thus, one railway line is laid through the station and leads to the bridge over the Yenisei River connecting the right and left banks.

Железнодорожный район
Здесь расположен ЖД вокзал — сибирская точка на Транссибирской железнодорожной магистрали. ЖД пути опоясывают весь город и соединяют несколько районов друг с другом, так один путь проложен через вокзал и ведет на мост через Енисей, соединяя между собой правый и левый берега.
Oktyabrsky District
One of the oldest districts of Krasnoyarsk. This is a picturesque place with a view of the Yenisei River and an abundance of woods, where the Akademgorodok (the village of Academicians) and the campus of Siberian University are located. The Uspensky male (Assumption) Monastery is situated by the water. Maybe that is why I chose the plague doctor. Spiritual dogma and a desire to comprehend the mysteries coexist in the character.

Октябрьский район
Один из старейших районов Красноярска. Живописное место с видом на Енисей, обилие леса, в нем расположились Академгородок и кампус сибирского университета. У воды стоит Успенский мужской монастырь. Может быть поэтому я выбрал чумного доктора, в персонаже уживаются духовные догмы и тяга к постижению тайн.
Central district
The historical city-center. Cultural institutions, universities, banks, as well as the administration of the city and region are concentrated here. You can say it is the most important among all the districts. Three characters represent the three main streets of the district: Karla Marksa Street (soldier), Mira Street (king) and Lenina Street (soldier).

Центральный район
Исторический центр города. Тут сосредоточены культурные заведения, институты, банки, а так же администрация города и края. Можно сказать он самый главный среди всех районов. Три персонажа олицетворяют три главные улицы района: Карла Маркса (солдат), Мира (король) и Ленина (солдат).
Kirovsky District
The first district on the right bank of the Yenisei River. One of the iconic spots of the district is the Krasnoyarsk Young Spectator’s Theatre. This is a youthful, driving and theatrical center of the city. The prototype of the district was a puppeteer in a sun mask accompanied by pony puppets.

Кировский район
Первый район на правом берегу Енисея. Одно из знаковых мест района — Красноярский ТЮЗ. Молодежный, драйвовый, современный, театральный центр города. Прообразом района стал кукловод в маске солнца в сопровождении марионеток пони.
Leninsky District
The industrial center of the right bank. It was based on the Biryusa refrigerator plant, which is known not only in Krasnoyarsk. It turned out to be a gloomy ice knight with a freezing sword.

Ленинский район
Промышленный центр правого берега. За основу взял завод холодильников «Бирюса», который известен не только в Красноярске. Получился мрачный ледяной рыцарь с мечом заморозкой.
Sverdlovsky district
One of the greenest, mountainous, teeming with all kinds of wildlife places in Krasnoyarsk. The Stolby Nature Reserve, the zoo “Royev Ruchey” and the “Bobrovy Log” fan park are on the same spot. A female magician and two dinosaurs are the quintessence of flora and fauna, human and magical worlds. Judging from “Game of Thrones,” a woman and a reptile make a great team.

Свердловский район
Одно из самых зелёных, гористых, кишащих разной живностью мест Красноярска. В одном месте соседствуют заповедник Столбы, зоопарк «Роев ручей» и фанпарк «Бобровый лог». Женщина маг и пара динозавров — квинтэссенция флоры и фауны, человеческого и магического миров. Если судить по «Игре престолов» женщина и рептилия прекрасная командная работа.
